Description

Summary

AireConsult is an online consultation and video consultation platform facilitating paperless working across health and social care. Acting as a Healthcare front door, it allows patients to access GP services such as booking, amending or cancelling appointments, repeat prescriptions and much more.

Full description

AireConsult allows patients to access clinical consultation on a range of health queries by filling out a simple form or arranging a discussion by video with their GP. Clinical software needs to reflect the dynamic, varied nature of the healthcare sector, so we designed AireConsult to be responsive, versatile and interoperable. It is accessible via a simple web link on a range of devices such as mobile phones, tablets, or laptop and desktop computers, and has been designed to provide a user friendly and intuitive experience for patients. We believe in iterative development of healthcare solutions, and are constantly drawing on feedback from clinicians and other users in a range of healthcare contexts to ensure AireConsult helps smooth the patient pathway to offer timely access to health services for patients, whilst helping to relieve pressure on GP services.

Implementation timescales

These are the typical processes and timescales to implement this Catalogue Solution:
AireConsult can typically be deployed very quickly, in a matter of days. We would work with an organisation to complete the following steps: ● Gather an ODS code or similar unique customer organisation identifier ● Create / dedicate an NHS Mail account for the AireConsult service to use as the originating mailbox ● Per organisation / service: ○ Enable the one or more forms that are going to be used by the organisation / service, alongside Video Consultation from OnAire ○ Provide the destination NHSMail account ○ Provide a logo for that organisation / service ○ Configure success / error and not found pages as required (AireConsult has defaults if needed) We can support more integrated scenarios and would work with customers to understand and scope requirements, with involvement from our Business Analysts where required. Whilst timescales depend on requirements, here we would envisage deployment within a month or so.

Additional information
We generally support modern, up-to-date browsers, so users should stay up-to-date with automatic updates. However, since our UI is written in React, we can theoretically support legacy versions back to: Chrome 49 (release: 2016/3/2) Firefox 50 (2016/11/15) Safari 10 (2016/9/20) IE 9 (2011/3/14) Edge 14 (2016/2/18) Our use of modern browser features such as Flexbox means that in reality, legacy versions such as IE9 will not perform well.
