Conflux (Primary Care)

Conflux is a communication and collaboration tool which enables GP practices within a primary care network, cluster, CCG or STP to work together at scale. It also enables other primary care services such as community pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry and IAPT to work with GP groups to plan and implement local services which meet local and hyper-local needs. It can: Communicate, share and develop ideas; Build a community-of-practice; Create a consensus for decisions; Share documents and other network resources; Schedule meetings and learning events in a calendar; Conduct audio/video conferences with up to 50 network members; Jointly do and share clinical governance activities (clinical audit and SUE); Have external experts answer members’ questions; Share staff. Features: Forums, balloting, create and share documents and resources, multi-user audio/video conferencing, events calendar, clinical governance section, expert Q&As, network noticeboard, personal messaging, CareBank.

Patient Communication (SMS)  
- Description

Provision of SMS services. Virtually will always set up the
customer's account with carriers. Three payment options
possible. 1) Virtually will pay the carrier every month and
recover this cost through the agreed call-off contract
payment arrangements for this associated service. 2) For
the customer to receive and settle monthly bills from
carriers directly. No service management fee will apply. 3)
If the customer has an existing contract with a carrier
they wish to use and that carrier offers an API we will
route SMS messages and calls through this carrier.

The price per SMS is based on level of monthly commitment. This ranges from 0.0196p (38,827 texts purchased), 0.0187p (203,209 texts purchased) and 0.0178p (426,966 texts purchased). The “pay as you go” price with no monthly commitment is 0.0228p.

Ask Virtually - the Virtually Widget  
- Description

The Ask Virtually Widget is launched from a floating toolbar within EMIS and allows a health professional to initiate SMS, video and telephone communication with the selected patient or group of patients (batch messaging).
Messages can contain multiple components, including templates with full SNOMED code integration and responses automatically written back to the patient record. The clinician can also request photographs and documents from the patient and receive them in a secure way.
Messages are sent using the Virtually “in-app messaging” service where deployed, thus avoiding the costs associated with SMS messaging.
We will work with a purchaser who wishes to use a carrier of their choice or who wishes to deploy the widget without using the full Virtually solution.
