EMIS Web GP Local Services

Local Services provides EMIS Web GP practices with a BaRS assured referral management solution that is fully integrated and intuitive. The solution uses information already held in the EMIS Web patient record to populate referral templates that can be created to support any referral type, whilst also providing assessments for certain services to ensure that patients are eligible for the referral type. A number of referral services are available such as Pharmacy First / Minor Illness, Hypertension, Non-complicated UTI, Contraception and smoking cessation, with the option to build bespoke services for localities. Upon completion of the referral, a SNOMED coded entry is added to the patient's record to detail the event.
